Now to share some of my frankly rubbish and cringeworthy attempts at Tang poetry! Yes, them were the days when my grasp of Classical Chinese was very limited as much as my grasp of Tang poetry. These were composed around 2003/4-ish. Not that I’ve attempted anymore since, but some of my English work is brilliant compared to this utter crap!
Prepare to laugh your arses off.
Beware! Contains highly questionable and at times inappropriate (bording on deranged) musings…
NB: This is about the Three Gorges Dam.
NB: Yes, no one bothered to turn up to my birthdays anymore, and frankly, I don’t give a toss except for the money…
NB: I’d warned you…
NB: My father nags me to cut the grass, and so I composed this little ditty to ask why should I bother?
NB: Messy poem about Cardcaptor Sakura.
NB: My hatred of being forced to take driving lessons is the cause of this one.
NB: Don’t try and understand this one, just don’t…
NB: About Derren Brown, when I was obsessed with him and his work. Not any more…
I’ve taken the liberty to alter a word or two to correct the style. I wrote some of these when I was a bit nutty and frankly, looking back, most of these are plain silly! Why did I compose them? Probably because I was irrate and bitter…
They’ll be some of my English verse later, plus my attempts at composing Tang poetry, using English! O_O
You have been warned…
