I became interested in academic dress when I attended my cousin’s graduation at Oxford several years ago. Never did I know that I would make a semi-occupation of it! My fascination with AD (as it is known in the circle) comes from the various designs of it and the colours used. Since I’m a Confucian-ritualist, I firmly believe in the power of pomp and ceremony.
